Grape seed extract is an herbal preparation made from grapes. The extract contains oligomeric proanthocyandin (OPC), an important antioxidant.

Researchers suggest OPC may benefit cardiovascular disease, macular degeneration from diabetes, and cancer. If lymphedema, macular degeneration, diabetes, or other serious disease is present, only take grape seed under the direction of a medical professional.
