Richard A. Kube II, MD is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon whose dedication to evidence-based medicine and continued education allows him to provide the best in operative or non-operative spine care. Dr. Kube has been gaining an international reputation in minimally-invasive procedures and other advanced spine procedures. In fact, Dr. Kube’s research on motion preservation has fostered 20+ international presentations in Europe, Asia and North America.

Dr. Kube was born and raised in Southern Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, followed by Doctor of Medicine (along with a Distinction in Research), and his post-graduate training in Orthopedic Surgery at Saint Louis University. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Kube earned a Spine Fellowship training in Louisville, Kentucky with Spine Surgery PSC, a well-respected and internationally-recognized program directed by Richard Holt, MD.
Dr. Kube is currently a faculty member at the University of Illinois, School of Medicine in Peoria, IL.
