About Our Practice
Not only have I received the best neurosurgical training possible but I have now over 20 years of practice experience in interacting with my patients and families in treating their neurosurgical problems. The better a patient is educated about the medical condition they have, the better I am in offering a variety of solutions, some surgical and others non-surgical. I encourage patients to obtain a second opinion especially if I am considering a neurosurgical procedure. Do not be hesitant to ask questions for only then do I feel that you as the patient fully understand what the consequences of your medical problem are. I believe that the patient and I need to work together to help conquer the sometimes devastating effects that the problem you have are causing on you and your lifestyle. Should I not have the expertise to help I will not hesitate in referring you to someone I believe can take better care of you. With rapid changes taking place in neurosurgery some procedures which may be popular now would not be appropriate for you and your condition. Remember that medicine is both a science and an art. This means that a surgery, although it may be indicated in your case, will not always bring the results you may expect. Listen carefully to what we discuss and weigh the options that are presented before making any decision. I only hope that we can work together to speedily take care of the problem you have in order for you to carry on with your life.
