Dr. Priebe is an appointed member, Medical Evidence Evaluation Advisory Committee; Department of Industrial Relations; Division of Worker’s Compensation Medical Unit; State of California. Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) continuing education Provider No.1210, Accredited by the Administrative Director of the California Division of Worker’s Compensation.
Licensed to practice Chinese Needle Therapy (Acupuncture) in California in 1983, Dr. Priebe specialized in the study and treatment of pain, and focused on treating neuromuscular injuries and disease in an interdisciplinary Accredited Pain Program in Torrance California.
Dr. Priebe is a founding member and CEO of the National Oriental Medicine Accreditation Agency (NOMAA.org) creating a national standard for Doctor of Oriental Medicine (OMD) First-professional doctoral degree programs and received in 2006 - Doctor of Oriental Medicine (OMD), South Baylo University, Anaheim, California.
In 2006, founded and served as Chairperson for, and PENDING (300 Hr) recognition of Chinese Needle Therapy (CNT) Pain Management and Therapeutics in compliance with the DIVISION OF WORKERS’ COMPENSATION QUALIFIED MEDICAL EVALUATOR REGULATIONS LC 3209.3 Licensed Acupuncturists TITLE 8, under § 13.;Physician’s Specialty, and TITLE 8, and under § 12.; Recognition of Specialty Boards.
He was the first L. Ac. Designated, Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), QME No.914705, California, [Inactive] 1991and served on the Utilization Review Committee, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Worker’s Compensation, State of California,1993.
In 2001, he was appointed to the California Senate Business and Professions, Subcommittee on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome/ RSD by Senator Liz Figueroa.
2001 appointed to the California Acupuncture Board, Education Task Force.
Appointed as a member in 2005 to the Guidelines Evaluation Committee, California Division Of Worker’s Compensation; 2007, Medical Evidence Evaluation Advisory Committee, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Worker’s Compensation, State of California.
