The Silent Disease

Slide 2

You probably won’t notice any symptoms at first. That’s why osteoporosis is sometimes referred to as the silent disease. It’s when the disease has advanced that you begin to notice symptoms. You may find you’ve lost a few inches off your height or that you have a dull pain in your back or neck. If untreated, you can also have severe pain as a result of a collapsed vertebra or a broken bone.
