Has anyone ever had a cyst on their spine removed surgically because it was causing pain?

I have suffered from three spinal cyst surgeries starting first 1989 next 2000 and third 2004. Another has returned but due to health problems related and non related can not redo surgery. Pain related in back started when I was 23 and while sweeping I sneezed and blew a low back disc. Now at 59 I have been diagnosed to 7 different diseases of the back. Right now have been having facet injections next is rhiziotomy surgery and am not looking forward but pain has taken my life away. Inside spinal cord the cyst swells and excruciating pain results. I hope you can feel better that you are not alone. Sq

Just had my 5th surgery. It was suppose to be easy and to go in and drain and remove cyst. Did not go that way. They ended up taking all the hardware out and the cyst. I'm only 9 days out post op. The pain is extreme. Am hoping this is my last. I am only 42 yrs old and do not want to keep going through the pain. The cyst developed after my 3 rd surgery when the dr. Nicked my spinal cord (so she says) it was a horrible experience I hope the best for you if you have it done. As of right now I do not have much feeling in my private parts. My foot does feel a tad better. Hoping the pain subsides soon. I am one that does not like meds so I am careful what I do. Hope all goes well. Let you know in a few weeks how I am
