minimally invasive surgery for spinal stenosis and spondylothesis

I would like to talk to anyone that has had this surgery recently. It involves laproscoptic surgery from the side of your body to insert a small 'box"? to release pressure on the pinched nerves.

Hi Barbara,
I had this surgery 11 days ago. It was to remove 3 discs L 3,4 and 5. Cages and fusion were don on L2-3, 4-5 and 5-S1. The disks were removed and cages inserted through the side ( xlif) and 6 screws and 3 rods were done with PLIF incicisions through my back.

What would you like to know? When is your surgery scheduled for?
