looking for advice

I have a 3x4mm spinal tumor along the cauda equina nerve roots. I saw a neurosurgeon who told me it is not causing my symptoms and doesn't need removal. I am worried because I have had constant back pain, leg pain and pelvic pain including weakness in my legs. The pain is a burning, aching pain like it is in the bones. I take oxycontin for the pain and it doesn't even stop the pain entirely. I also have problems with my bowels and extreme constipation and periodic diarrhea. Can a 3x4mm spinal tumor be causing my symptoms?
