Hello, ainy--thank you for your post. We are sorry to read about the pain your mother is experiencing.

Have you read anything about fibromyalgia? We aren't medical professionals--so we apologize if this information does not hit the mark--but this article might be a worthwhile read: ( Fibromyalgia ).

If you scroll to the bottom, it notes: "Rheumatologists, arguably more than any other physician, closely follow fibromyalgia developments and will likely have the best knowledge base on the condition."

If fibromyalgia hasn't been ruled out as a diagnosis, perhaps your mother might ask about whether her pain could be connected to this condition at her next doctor's appointment.

We hope this helps, and we wish you the very best of luck as you help your mother manage her chronic pain.
