Help understanding cervical MRI and XRAY

Started by vmh04 on 04/28/2011 1:10pm

Hello everyone,

I am suffering from left neck pain for a white and taken MRI and XRAY. Please help me understanding the results

MRI Conclusion
-----------------------

Multilevel mild disc desiccation.
No evidence for acute nor traumatic herniated discs.
Congenital variant block vertebra involving C3 and C4.

XRAY Impression:
-------------------------

Almost complete obliteration of C3-C4, possibly an attempted block vertebra. There is straightened cervical lordosis, levoscoliosis and narrowing of third neural foramina. MRI could be obtained.
