yes, (not a professional on chiropractic practices) but any manipulation to the neck can realign something and cause major problems.
I'm no Physician; however, I'm an advocate for Chiropractic Care. Chiropractors are medically trained professionals, as are Physicians, in an area of expertise. Chiropractors provide a excellent source for relief without pushing drugs like some many physicians like to push.
There are certainly risks to everything; however, overall Chiropractors provide a valuable service at a far more reasonable price.
It's unfortunate the American Medical Association "AMA" has so much power in the medical arena. I believe they pejoratively manipulate/influence the public on the value of Chiropractic Care.
Thanks GOD for Chiropractors!
i think a canadian research study showed that snapping the neck can lead to strokes.....pete
Yes, there is a small risk of stroke with neck alignments. For me, I feel that small risk is worth it considering the relief I get from a chiropractic adjustment. Everyone has to decide that for themselves if it's worth it to them, I suppose.
No I do not believe they are dangerous at all, in fact they are extremely helpful.
The simple fact that a chiropractor wont touch my neck at all is proof that damage can occur. If they supposedly could "heal" and "fix" then they would be all over it and believe me, I would be in thier offices daily. But to be told "I am not going to do anything with your neck" shows they dont have the expertise or the confidence in what they do to work on it. Just my 2cents.
my friend got a herniated disc in his neck from a chriopractor, they are good for some things, but you got to be careful.
