Why surgery reccomended

Started by Kltaylor123 on 03/21/2019 6:11pm

I have been diagnosed with spondylitis and narrowing of spinal canal at c4-c6.
The surgeon I saw yesterday for the first time recommended ACDF surgery with fusion!
Is this because it is a serious condition? I wander why conservative options were not reccomended?
