Numbness in my finger

Started by 102069549823062... on 10/19/2015 7:48am

8/22/15 I got hit by a car. I was a pedestrian crossing a street and got struck by a car... Been going to physical therapy and finally Last week I got my results back for my MRI and I have 1 herniated disc and 2 bulging discs. Pain is unbearable and many nights I have sleepless nights. Today when I woke up, my thumb was completely numb from my knuckle and up... I woke up at 6:15 am and now it's 8:47am and my finger is still numb. What's causing this and how do I get this numbness to go away!? Someone please help me... :*(

It could be that it is caused be the herniated or bulging discs. The nerves to your fingers come through your cervical spine (neck area). Definitely something to talk with your doctor about! You might try ice on your neck to reduce some of the inflammation (20 min. on, 20 min. off).
