L5 Rediculopothy

Started by crabman63 on 09/28/2015 5:16pm

Back in march of 2015 I had L1/L2 disecotomy and spent 26 days in hospital of which 14 of those days were in rehab learning how to walk again after surgery which they don't know why but I learned about spinal leak stitched it and patch put in back.I walked in to remove partial herniated disk but now I have L5 Rediculopothy with both feet and can not lift up toes or feet. Had 2 EMG nerve tests done and as of June there was some improvement in my glutes but no nerve energy to feet or toes.I fall alot because of balance issues. This has occurred just after surgery and has basically altered my life and can not do my job and may have to take disability retirement and no answers as to if this is permanent nerve damage which I was told could take up to 18 months to get back or if I even get my nerves back.I was told that a heminlectomy and forminlectimy was done also during surgery. Is there any body who came out with simular prognosis and recovered? I'm worse off now then going into surgery.!!!
