Adjacent level failure

Started by webesam on 02/20/2012 12:26pm

I had Double ACDF in Sept 2010 – All went well, healing was tough, but I was back to work in 3 weeks. Now I have had a collapse of C3 to C4. I hadn’t had any issues with this section prior to my double C4/C5 – C5/C6. I had just recently had an Xray at the surgeon’s in Sept of 2011 and all was fine… now, here it is Feb 2012 and I have a collapse.

Anyone else have additional failures such as this ? I am awaiting the MRI and meeting with the Dr so we can see what the plan is to take are of this new issue. I am having tingling in my shoulder, pain in neck and shoulders both sides, tooth pain and some optic issues.
