lower back pain

i was diagnos at L4-L5 lumbar spine with intrusion and L5-S1 with protrusion. any advice how to treat....tnx

Generally, and with few exceptions, initial treatment for "bulges", herniations and extrusions should be with physical therapy, or chiropractic or both. If those fail, the usual next step is pain management with steroid injections, and, failing that, surgery. The particular variant of injection and surgery that may be appropriate depends upon the details of your pain and MRI scan. I would suggest that among the non-surgical treatments for your disc problem, you include "spinal decompression" or, at least, a very good traction table. I include this as a component of treatment for all patients with neck or low back pain, except the rare occasion that it's contraindicated, e.g. infections, tumors, fractures, instability.
