herniated disc at T5 and T6 with indentation on spinal cord

Started by overdraft on 01/26/2011 5:13pm

I am looking at having surgery to aleviate the disc on the cord. My surgeon states that he would go through the chest wall cavity deflate the lung and insert a one inch tube to go to the T5/6 to eliminate the pressure on the cord.
Has anyone had this done ? or any sugesstions regarding the surgery
Thanks
Andy
