I currently reside in North Carolina but was born in Panama City FL.. lived there most of my life .i would like to get married someday, and if i can't be all that I can be then I guess im gonna be a loner.., I rather have a wife to love and take vacations as well ......

Hi, and thanks for your post! We are so sorry to hear you've had mobility issues after your spine surgery. We have a couple questions and suggestions for you.

When did you have your spine surgery? If it was recently (that is, within the past 12 months), you may still be in the recovery period--and many people have mobility limitations during this time. If you're in the recovery period, has your surgeon put restrictions on movement and lifting? If so, has your surgeon told you how long you should follow those instructions?

Regardless if you're recovering from spine surgery or if this is outside the bounds of a normal recovery, we think you should talk to a doctor about your mobility concerns. If you'd like to check out other qualified spine specialists near you, we have a great doctor finder tool for that: https://www.spineuniverse.com/locate/spe... .

Your doctor may refer you to a physical therapist, who can teach you exercises that can safely restore your mobility. Just because your mobility is limited now doesn't mean you can't get it back (barring any serious disability or disease that would prevent you from walking).

We hope you find a medical team who takes your concerns seriously and gets you back on the road to healthy mobility and independence. We know losing your ability to move comfortably can take an enormous toll on your quality of life, so please don't stop fighting to find the right medical professionals who can help get you moving again. We wish you the very best of luck!
