Hello, and thanks for posting your questions about spinal stenosis! We have some great content that we think will help answer some of your questions.

Here's an article about exercising with spinal stenosis that may give you some ideas on good activities to manage your pain ( Exercises for Spinal Stenosis ).

And, here's a helpful piece about the types of surgeries that treat spinal stenosis ( Surgery for Spinal Stenosis ).

In terms of when you'll go back to work, that largely depends on the type of surgery you will have. We encourage you to talk to your surgeon about the specifics of your recovery. Questions might include:
1. When can I go back to work?
2. Do I need to take any special precautions when I go back to work?
3. What red flags do I need to pay attention to during my recovery that might prevent me from going back to work on schedule?

We wish you a successful treatment and smooth recovery!
