Sources of self educating information.

Started by brianmauro on 10/25/2012 9:47pm

I suffer from chronic pain and a host of ailments with long names. I've had both great and nightmarish experiences. I'm especially greatful to web sites such as this one, that provides current info and the professionals who took the time and effort, to provide this information. My health is my responsibility, as well as my doctors, but if I can't describe or responde to his examination questions, accurately what level of treatment should I expect? Education has help me more than medication. Ther are excellant sourses of self education out their, just as wonderful as this one. Thank You!!! to all of the heathcare personel that give so much time and care to keeping the info flowing. I litterly owe you my life.

Brian,
what are some of the best sites for information you've found? I'd like to be able to explain what I'm dealing with in a language he/she understands. (Assuming I'm asked, which is not often the case.)
All good info is welcome,
Thanks,
Janet
