HELP EXTREME Post Operative Swelling

Started by AprilBrooks on 02/09/2019 3:35pm

I had my Spinal Fusion Surgery the 30th of October.
It was like being dropped off the Empire State Building and then the Rescue team shows up with a hot glue gun. It felt like my entire torso was filled with hot glass.
Now it’s February and the pain is manageable but the swelling on the right side where they basically cracked me open, built a cage with screws, brackets, then through my back inserted a rod.
Has anyone had excessive swelling on their side where the incision was made by a Thoractic Surgeon in tandem with a Spine Surgeon?
I’ve just started Physical Therapy, and have the blue ice packs.
NOTHING IS HELPING
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?
