Lumbar Spinal Fusion Surgery

Started by am1calif on 05/09/2021 11:49pm

I am scheduled for a Lumbar Spinal Fusion Surgery for the L4 - L5 section, in Mid June. I already had a Bilateral Decompression for the L4 - L5 area in October 2019, it did not cure the problem. People have been telling me that after Fusion Surgery, there mobility is Limited, some can not bend over forward, others can't even bend to tie their own shoe laces. I have know people that INSTEAD had a DISC replacement and they Love it, and they say that it has NOT limited their mobility. But, my Doctor states that a disc replacement is not for me. Does anyone know a Very Good Surgeon for a 2'nd Opinion in Northern California? I live in Central California, and prefer to travel to Bay Area, I have a good employer PPO Insurance.
