Adult onset scoliosis & severe osteoporosis of spine

Started by LauraMc on 02/28/2016 10:36pm

I'm 57 and had a lumbar "cage" placed due to degenerative disc disease, spondylosis, the works. I also have osteoporosis due to an early age hysterectomy and due to hereditary cancer risk at 35, I made the decision not to take hormone replacement therapy. 7 years later, I have adult onset scoliosis and its progressing swiftly. I've got pain management going, but need more. So, what have your experiences been?
