high risk surgery for severe scoliosis

Started by candy1124 on 04/25/2014 11:39pm

I am going to have spinal surgery in June to correct by scoliosis. I'm worried about what to expect immediately after the surgery. The fusion will be from T4 to S1, another surgery 5 days later in the abdomen 5 days later.

I was told nearly the same; would have to be fused from T-2 to Sacrum... One neurosurgeon thinks he can do it in a day, another doesn't recommend it... Due to have a 3_rd opinion in a few days...
How'd yours turn out??
