Can stretching exercises for the neck be done while standing?

Started by MIKEMCD77 on 12/30/2013 8:59pm

The Spine universe website shows videos of how to do 3 different stretching exercises for "Cervical Spine Degenerative Disc Disease." It is stated that all 3 can be done either lying or sitting. Is it just as good to do them while standing? (By doing so, I can more easily time myself.)

I'm a 61 year old male. Using x-rays, my doctor recently diagnosed me as having “pretty bad degenerative disc disease in the C5 to C6 level.”
