Week 5 after a L5-S1 surgery.

Just wanted to tell everyone a sucess story so far. I am 5 weeks out and the pain is almost non existant. Still careful and not pushing it. Walking 2 kms 3x a day. All pre-surgery pains and issues gone and I am very happy so far with the surgery. So take heart everyone there are many sucessful fusion.

congrads,
do not push it.
make sure you get a six month xray.
if your surgan won't do it.
go to the er and get it yourself.
if it doesn't fuse in six months.
you have a slim to no chance of fusing.
don't want to alarm you.
but i've been there.
i'll pray for your sucsess.
p.s. no smoking as this will lessen the chance for fusion.
also take calsium sups it helps.
also do not stretch in the morning.
my back popped two weeks after the surgery.
i believe this is why i didn't fuse,
they used glue on me and i think it broke.
they told me this six months later.
