Looking for new spine surgeon in Ohio or southern Michigan

Started by luvtaserf on 05/12/2011 2:27pm

I am in need of finding a good spine surgeon. I have already had L-4 to S-1 fusion in 2008 with non union in fusion resulting in a second fusion to same levels in 2010. I currently have a leaking disc at L3-L4, severe dissecation at T10-T11 and several other issues. I am looking for suggestions on a new surgeon, hopefully from anyone that has had success with their surgeons. My docs currently just want me to stay medicated. It has been over 2 years since I tore the disc, have had numerous tests to verify the disc is leaking and is causing the pain so am ready to have the surgery and get on with my life.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have done numerous searches but seems it's a bunch of websites the Doctors put up to advertise themselves. I would like referrals from people that have actually dealt with a Doctor.
Thank You.
