Radiofrequency Ablation

Started by Bluewillowlady on 01/13/2019 8:19am

I've had 3 back surgeries and 2 neck surgeries and have a Spinal Cord Stimulator. I'm fused from C2 to C6 and L2 to S1, and still suffer from chronic headaches and chronic back pain, I had a Radiofrequency Abalation performed on my neck 2 weeks ago on the left side and went Wednesday to have it performed on the right side, the doctor asked me before administering the Verset we are doing the right side and I said yes, he did the procedure and I returned to recovery, they take the IV out and I get ready to go home and he returns to my room and tells me he did the wrong side and needs to take me back to the OR, they put in another IV and proceeded to take me back and perform the Radiofrequency Ablation on the right side and back to recoveryand then home. I felt faint for most of the evening, and my blood pressure stayed high but I already have uncontrolled HBP other than that no side effects. Yesterday I started with a severe headache and muscle spasms in my neck, is this a side effect from having the procedure performed on the same area should be I concerned?
