Does anyone have Spinal Stenosis, that's making it very difficult to pick your legs up to walk?

Yes. I find I must consciously pick up my feet and move my legs to walk. Some days are better than others. I can't walk downhill without feeling I'll fall over. It's very scary.

I have been diagnosed with degenerative back desease with spinal stenosis. I have had steroid injections and now waiting to have steroids by epidural injection. My question: what keeps the steroids from traveling up my spinal cord to my brain? Does the epidural injections help with the chronic pain?
