Impatient Chronic Pain Hospital/Center

Started by Grdebraj on 10/07/2018 10:36pm

At only 50, I have had two cervical surgeries one being a fusion. I was 32 when I had my fusion. I currently see a pain management doctor for injections, physical therapy and acupuncture. my recent MRI and Cat Scan show severe disc degeneration at level c2-c6. I have received numerous opinions by neurosurgeons that believe a third surgery is very risky. The surgeons recommend continuation of pain management injections. The pain has taken a toll on me physically and emotionally. My pain is destroying my relationships, especially with my family which includes three teenagers. So, I am considering an inpatient program specializing in chronic pain. Does anyone have any recommendations for hospital? I live in Michigan so if there is a good program near Michigan that would be great.
