C4-C5 level stenosis and disc herniation

Started by gsraj on 06/07/2017 7:46pm

I have been suffering from severe pain in the neck with radiating pain in my shoulders, arm and the rest of the body with patch burning pain. I have gone through 5 neck surgeries at C5-C6 and C6-C7 level. Now I take more than 100 pills a day to keep my symptoms bearable. I am considering endoscopic neck surgery at C4-C5 level. has anyone suffered similar problems and taken successful treatment. Please let me know.

Hello, and thank you for your question about minimally invasive spine surgery. We are so sorry to hear about all the neck pain you've endured.

We'd like to share a link to our Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Center ( Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery ). Here, you will be able to read all about this advanced type of spine surgery, which we hope will help you make an informed decision about your treatment.

Minimally invasive techniques have helped many people manage their pain with shorter, smoother recoveries. If you choose to move forward with this surgical approach, we hope you experience that same level of success. We wish you the very best of luck!

Some numbness in my finger tips and I have had 2 back surgerys already in 2010 and 2012 ..L4 L5 and L5 S1 fusion..now this with my neck ..anyone with any info is helpful I'm waiting for a refural to the Dr I seen for my other back surgeries...i am 34

Did you have posterior surgery? I have not had surgery because of the outcome percentages. I have pain 24/7. Though nothing stops the pain, I found ice was the best. I can not believe I am going to have this for the rest of my life. I am interested in the type of surgery (laminoplasty, etc.)? I have been told if you have fusion 3% per year until you will have vertebrae will collapse. People who have laminoplasty do it so they do not have numbness or loss of feeling in there hands (stenosis). And the surgery is 50% chance you will have Pain. The outcomes are not good.
