Pain for the rest of my life?

Started by 851263948317851... on 03/06/2016 5:21am

Hi, i am 28 years old. I had a spinal fusion in 2009 due to a motor vehicle accident in which I was ejected. I had a burst fracture of T12-T12. They used a piece of my hip bone to fuse to my spine. It is seven years later and I cannot tolerate physical activity for longer than ten minutes. I have severe pain on the right side of my spine where one set of screws are. I also was diagnosed with spondyltheosis .and arthritis of my lower back when I was a kid. This accident and surgery has exacerbated that condition leading to unbearable sciatica. My question is will I likely be in pain for the rest of my life? Anyone who has had a similar situation please share with me your story and your advice. Thank you so much in advance.
