Need help and advice?

I suffer with severe Osteoarthritis, have it all over my body but the worst is in my right hip and now my spine. I had an MRI done because of what initially started out as a weakness in the legs with excess activity. It has now progressed to constant terrible pain in my lower back, buttocks, thighs, pelvic area and I am barely able to walk. I am not able to lift my left leg at all and can barely lift my right. My right hip is considered "severe" by the doctors and needs replaced ASAP, but the Orthopedic Specialist told me to take care of the spinal problem first since it is giving me the worst pain and disability. My MRI shows a lot of arthritis and disc protrusions. It also shows a compressed root nerve at the L5 & S1 Vertebrae....and the Orthopedic Specialist said yes, is the nerve for my left leg. The Orthopedic Specialist sent me to Pain Management for Epidural Injections of the spine to try and get some relief from this. However, my insurance has turned me down for the injections, the reasons they stated was 1. I need to try and least 4 weeks of Oral Pain medications and Physical Therapy....2. I must at least have a "Limp and or weakness". 3. I must have an MRI. I didn't have Physical Therapy because the Orthopedic Specialist said " I can't send you to physical therapy, their is no way you can do this with your hip like that". So I was never sent...As far as the rest of the reasons, they turned me down immediately and obviously never even checked their own records. I have been taking lots of pain medications for quite a while now, also had the MRI and as far as a "Limp"a limp would be an improvement for me. I can only walk a few feet without a walker or something to lean on, and even then all I do is shuffle. I can't "lift" my feet. I have also been having some problems with urinary incontinence, and it is only intermittent so no one has paid much attention to it, but I never had the problem until the back/leg problems started. In fact the very first day my back hurt real bad and my legs I could not control my bladder even for a few seconds. The urinary problems seem to coincide with the amount of pain and dysfunction I am having. I really don't know what to do. I can barely function, can't bend...can't hardly walk, can't lift anything of any amount of weight and can even barely get into my walk in shower. I filed an appeal with my insurance and they were supposed to have come to some kind of a "solution" within 30 days, and those 30 days are almost up and I still haven't heard a thing. I need help but just don't know what to do next or where to turn. Sick and tired of being sick and tired and in pain all the time. It has literally taken months to get sent back and forth to Neurologist, Orthopedics to Pain Management, but have received no treatment. Meanwhile I continue to get worse and worse next step is a wheelchair because it is even extremely painful to walk with a walker. Thanks for listening.....
