Hello and Thank you very much
Back in 2005 March,20. My Mother and I were in a accident , I begged My Mother to let me drive The Moving truck, but she said I drive this far what's a few more miles. Well I'll tell you we were going downhill on this street and as my mother was going to park she miscalculated how close she was to this tree with a huge branch that made contact with passenger side of the box end of the truck. Before I could grab my Mother we hit thiis tree that was protruding into the street, within a second we came to a complete stop my Mother hit her face on the steering wheel and I hit the dash. The seatbeltsin the truck didn't work I heard a cracking sound and felt some tearing . Sorry for all the details Thank God My mother is ok she had some facial damage which healed in time but I wasn't so lucky I had two fractures at L4-L5 S1 that was the most serious damage. I went to UCSF in San Francisco to get a Mri I could barely walk. There were a few times before my surgery that I was standing up and all of a sudden I was unable to walk, move, it hurt to breath heavy. It has been several years since my Surgery. . The first 1 1/2 -2 yrs. I couldn't walk without a walker or a cane one of the surgeons hit a nerve so my left leg was knumb . To this day my left kneecap is still knumb. My main question : is there anything that could be done the pain never lets up I always have to ice my back my right hip as well . I have been in severe pain since this surgery I can't run I can walk but it always hurts . I'm a person who can take and been through a lot of pain I'm just getting tired of not being able to do half of what I used to be able to do I have much more to say . I just want to know if there is anyone out there that can please help me. When I go to bed at night I never get more than 4 hours of sleep I'm always waken like someone hit me in the back with a bat. Thank You for listening I have also had nerve blocks nerve ablation's that just made my body worse Deadning the nerves in my back so I would just fall . I can't count how many times my leg just gave out I can go on and on about physical therapy pain management pain specialists I've done it all acupuncture etc. I get upset when they say back pain even chronic to severe doesn't give it justice what my body feels like . One of the surgeons to perform my back surgery told me that they were going to fix L4 and L5 S one but they only fixed L5 S one that did not touch L4 and that was damaged as well I feel like they could've done a better job on me.
