Weather and degree of pain

Started by wintergirl on 07/06/2015 9:24am

I live in northern Wisconsin and was wondering if anyone else has pain issues with weather changes. Yesterday was a good day and this morning thankfully I was almost pain free. It had rained alot last night and wind was from the south. This morning we have a strong cold front coming in from the north and suddenly it's killing me. My husband calls me his human barometer because I can feel weather changes coming 24 in advance. Drs say they have heard that a lot...really? Does anyone else feel that the weather/barometric pressure makes your pain worse or better?

Absolutely!! Any time the weather is getting ready to change, my body goes crazy!! Every joint aches, I have trouble getting up or sitting down, and I feel like death warmed over. But as soon as the cold front (or warm front) moves through the area, I'm back to normal. It is very, very weird, isn't it?!
