Why can't the surgeon give a straight ANSWER!

Started by 829329235@facebook on 04/18/2015 10:48am

Yesterday at my Surgeons office for another post-op visit. The Dr. came in for a minute looked at me and said your fusion is showing no signs of growth and are you out of pain meds. Before I could ask what that meant he was gone and I was sitting there looking at the nurse. I've been in severe pain since my first fusion of the C4-C5 and the pain only increased after my second fusion of the C5-C6 now I'm in so much pain I can't do anything......Why won't they tell you what's really going on.

Hi Jason, Did you research this doc prior to surgery? If not ... Then start now. And why did the doc do two fusions vs one?

Hi! Did they use bone from your hip or a cadaver? I'm fused from C-5 to C-7 and and a slow healer, they took three bones from my hip and now I have a huge crater there!. Two years later on my MRI it was still not complete! He may just want to wait and see if there's any growth on your next appt.
