Started by rene on 11/18/2012 12:17pm

Thanksgiving is with my family as usuall,Small group, just 16 people..My mom is coming over the day B4 so we can start preping. Isnt it funny how the one day A year everyone is eating the same foods,,no pasta that day, Mario always tries to get a lasagna out of me but I tell him the pilgrims didnt serve that..His family makes an awful Thanksgiving dinner,,,They make Pasta an all their foods, the only part of Thansgiving they add to the menu is the Turkey, and even that doesnt taste good,,,Yukkk,,I want the traditional meal, we make a joke of it,,by saying its our american holiday not yours..Too funny, they dont even know how to make mashed potatos,,and forget about cranberry sauce, he looks at it like its poison. So tell me,,whats everyones plans? As usual all R invited if U happen to B in my area,The more the merrier...Gobble Gobble to all,,Rene :) :) :)

My holiday will be at my sisters and typically 30-35 people! She has a huge covered patio and pool and it is there every year. All the sisters and one sister inlay bring a part of the meal plus an appetizer and desert. It is truly a day to give thanks. I think it will be a day for all of we spinets to truly say thanks from the heart. With out all of the medical technology just where would we be?? Find the positive in everything and be thankful.
@ Rene... Every year my sister has to make a tray of " ziti" so my brother in law is happy! Xo
