Degenerative disc disease

Started by debbie63 on 09/07/2012 6:03pm

Hi, I am a 48 year old female, with degenerative disc disease. In 2010 I had 3 disc's replace in my back. (disc fusion). Its been almost 2 years now, and I still have chronic back pain. For the last 6 months, I started getting very sharp pain in the groin. also it is very numb on the right side. and starting to get numb on the left side. Does anyone know if this is now a pinched nerve, or could it be something else. I go see my Doctor in two weeks, and am getting really worried.

If you end up going out on dissability DDD is considered a cause for you to receive those benefits ( just a little tid bit for you).
