Spine fusion after life

Started by BriannasMommy on 12/24/2011 9:11am

Hello, I am here to ask for help, any suggestions will be great. I had multiple back surgeries and the last one was a fusion and removal of hardware as well... I have been calling and emailing the staff about severe leg and arm numbness on both sides of my body down into my weak feet , with the left being the worse. I fall all the time and use a cane for support. The dr. says I don't need a cane and he wont assist me other than Tizanidine 2mg three times a day. I don't need sleep I need help. They did find other areas of disc herniation and I forgot the other word used (sorry for me) .I did physical therapy, I exercise at home. and follow all the rules for a better life style. I don't drink or smoke and I don't do drugs.

I see a pain specialist and he wont help either. What should I do? I am suffering too much!

As for me not needing a cane........... My elbows barely have any skin left on them and my chin either.

The surgeons office (if that is who you are calling and emailing) cannot address the severe leg and arm numbness on both sides of my body down into my weak feet , with the left being the worse. You should look into a new pain specialist if this current doctor is not addressing your concerns. What has your primary physician said about these issues you are having. Please update.
