Cervical disc problems

Started by StpeteFla on 01/26/2011 12:55pm

Hi,
After helping my exhusband move some heavy furniture last January, I have had chronic pain in my neck ans left shoulder, collarbone area. I went to an orthopeadic doctor who did xrays and told me that in my neck I was missing a disc. Apparently it had already worn down so that none of the disc was visible.
I sit behind a desk almost all day behind a computer, and find that I have chronic pain in the areas already described. Is there a surgery , or anything other than physical therapy, which I just don't have time for that could help my condition?
thanks for any help anyone can give...
