Herniated discs and spinal stenosis

Started by coni on 10/06/2010 12:47am

I have been taking 20 mg of Percocet and 20 mg of Valium 2x daily for pain management of 2 severely herniated discs and spinal stenosis with very little pain relief. The doctor added 50 mg Ultram 3x daily to the mix and the pain relief was almost immediate. Can anyone tell me exactly what Ultram (Tramadol) does to make such a difference in pain relief?
