spinal stenosus with ostioarthritis

Started by naniaeisele on 09/10/2012 10:15pm

I am a 53 yr old, overweight female. I was diagnosted with ostioarthritis of the knee, half being bone on bone. Then an MRI showed mild to moderate stenosus starting at the L4 S1 area. Presently, I am having a lot of leg pain that is making it difficult to walk. When I put any weight on the leg sharp pain travels my shin bone and I feel a pull in my thigh muscle. I have been doing pt for 3 weeks but the pain appears to be getting worse. I also feel a burning sensation in the arch of my foot. Is this from my knee or back? I don't know who I should see.
