Central cord syndrome (need an opinion if surgery or not)

MRI results: 1. Cord enlargement of c3 c4 c5 c6 levels with intramedullary increased t2 signal; transverse myelitis versus multiple sclerosis. 2. Degenerative disc desiccation changes at c2-3, c3-4, c4-5, c5-6 and c6-7 levels. 3. Compression deformities of c6,c7 as well as slightly at c4 and c5 vertebrae. 4. Disc protrusion ventral and bilateral indenting the right and left. 5. Nerve root with disc desiccation change at L5-S1 level.
