Laminectomy L4-L5, Fusion, and leg pain

Started by Strhuntrss on 04/26/2015 10:19pm

Has anyone had a laminectomy and fusion and have knee pain? Or leg imbalances?

Yesterday I was walking along and wanted to step up on a step, leg gave way bent the knee and now I have torn ligaments in back of knee.

Also, just a thought, can having three epidural injections in my lower neck cause weaken tendons?

I'm at a lose bat why this happened.

Thank you,

I am seeing an orthopedic doctor on Monday. Not only did I tear tendons. I bruised bone marrow in my tibia. Swelling in the knee has me not sleeping at night.

I have done the R.I.C.E., Even used salon pas ointment at night for pain.
My pcp said after looking at the mri, she thinks the ortho is going to say to me, you need surgery. Not looking forward to that. Just had back surgery in November.

Please pray for me! I'm at my wits end. I'm 55 and can't afford to be down with another surgery.

God Bless
