Medical Tourism for Spine Surgery

Started by majk on 07/05/2019 4:43am

8 years ago I completely herniated L5-S1 dics (literally heard them pop out. POP POP!). Since that fateful day, I have lived with excruciating pain that no doctors have been able to fix with conservative treatments ($15,000 spent on various doctors, MRI's, pain specialists, therapists, and so on). I think my next course is surgery but my current insurance will not support surgery and instead suggest more P/T, exercise, etc. All of which I've been doing for 8 years with no help. So, I have some money saved up, and am looking toward Medical Tourism as my next path. Anyone have any experience flying to another country to get surgery?
