Please help me to understand just had cervical spinal stenosis with myelopathy surgery. First question are the steel rods suppose to be bent/ curved at the ends . They told my son that they were doing me a favor (?) They look like a loop. I am in a lot of pain and it seems as if the straight part of the rods are budging out in between my shoudler blades and the back of my neck . Where they budge all depends on what side I am shifting onto . And I am getting a pinching pain near my neck and collarbone Does anyone else have rods done in this manner ? Is this normal? Thank you for your help at my wits end and it seems I keep getting the non - phone calls I'll get back to you answers - So I could really use your help good or bad - it would ease my mind Thanks Again !
