Lower back pain

Started by Bratt on 11/14/2018 3:24am

In 2012 I had a fusion of L4 and L5. ln 2014 I had L5 S1 fused. Was doing pretty good. I recently started having severe pain in the L5 S1 area. It’s painful to touch and I can’t lay in bed for long. Been sleeping in a recliner. . My mri from 8 months ago showed pedical screw was close to nerve. I thought that might be the source of recent pain but the doctor said if it was interfering with the nerve I would have nerve pain not just pain. He has ordered a ct scan with spect but didn’t seem optimistic. Anyone else have similar experience and did you find the source of the problem?
