Stem Cell Disc Injection

Started by Jhschulte on 08/06/2018 2:02pm

Hi I have had back problems and surgeries since January of 1999. I am 46 I've had 2 micro"s 1 in 99 and 2nd in 08. Then in 2010 I had a fusion of my L4-S1. April of this year I clearing snow from my driveway and blew out my L3-4. Tried pt and injection. Had pain in lower right side down my leg. My doctor recommended me to try Stem Cell Injection for my disc. He said that it was degenerative and I was a perfect candidate for this procedure. So in June he took bone marrow from my hip and spun out the Stem cells and injected them into my disc. Since then I now have pain from mid back through both sides of lower back down both legs and into my feet. He now says that the pain is from something other than my disc. I can barely function anymore. My lower legs and heels hurt so bad that I am almost chair bound. He started me on Gabapentin 300 mg for the nerve pain but haven't had any improvements. Please any suggestions, I am at a loss and very depressed.
