Spinal Pain

Started by ajsteele06 on 05/24/2018 11:42am

I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 14 in 1990. I wore a brace for two years and then had to have Harrington Rod surgery in 1993. I was fused from T1-T12 with rods and screws. Two years later rods and screws had to be removed due to bursitis. After having 3 kids, working textile work and being a nurse for 11 years I developed sharp pains in neck to arms. I have had severe kyphosis and lordosis. October 2016, I had an ACDF of C4-C6. Immediately after returning home I developed severe vomiting that persisted for 2 weeks. I lost 20 pounds then. I haven’t been able to work yet. I am getting worse. I now have severe pains in feet when waking up and trying to walk. MD is saying it’s neuropathy. Just wondering if anyone else has had so many fused and rods removed that at times it feels like it is so unstable. At times I move and it feels as if my spine has separated and returned. This is horrible and my activities has declined so much. If anyone can help, please do. Thanks
