Spinal cord stimulator
4 weeks ago I had my SCS surgery, after a successful test surgery. So far I can tell a big difference in the back pain level although the surgery pain is quite substantial. I am told the recovery is quite lengthy.
Has anyone else had this surgery and what of your experience ?

Hello, and thank you for your post! We are happy to read that your back pain is responding well to the spinal cord stimulator.
While we don't have a personal experience to share, we wanted to pass along some content we recently published about SCS. This article, in particular, has some good information about SCS implantation recovery that we thought you might be interested in: ( How Is a Spinal Cord Stimulator Implanted? ).
If you scroll to the bottom of that article, you'll see links to other SCS articles that may be of interest.
We hope this information helps, and we wish you continued pain relief with this therapy!
Hello- hope your SCS is still doing well. I had my SCS implanted almost 8 years ago. Very good pain therapy until just recently. I am having breakthrough pain but don’t know why. Maybe needs reprogramming or a new unit. Overall, has been a good solution for me.
